Up a creek without a paddle, that's where we are right now and (not gonna lie) we panicking a bit.

We have month end payments due very soon, vet and rent. Wages for our amazing guys and then 40 rescues due for annual vaccinations and rabies at the end of September.

We have tried buy now items on our Auction for Pit Pals page and will be loading a few auctions later this afternoon too. That we really really hope you'll support 🙏 but this will still only be a drop in the ocean of things needing to get paid.

We have 58 rescues counting on us, we try our best, work hard every month to raise the funds we need, but this month we're honestly struggling BIG time. So if you could perhaps donate a little something, we'd be forever grateful!

A very happy Monday everyone from our amazing THOR!

Cape Town - 5 year old Thor stands out as AMAAAAZING in everyway possible. Let's just start with the obvious should we, his eyes!!!! They are the most gorgeous, rich, deep and full of love eyes EVER!

His nature....where do we even begin. Well to be honest we kinda got stuck here trying to find the exact right words and wording to properly express how phenomenal he is...so we asked our AI friend and this is what he came up with, which is pretty much spot on - THOR is cheery, affectionate, a totally devoted young man with crazy intense amounts of adoring, unconditional and eternal love to give his family.

His playfulness is just everything, the way he gets excited about a ball, a rope toy, a leaf blowing across the grass whatever it is, it's an opportunity to play and have fun, be a little silly too. Nicknamed our kennel comedian if you will, because just being around him makes you feel happy. Walks with him are a bit hectic at first, it's a "hold on tight" first 5 minutes or so but he then settles down and simply enjoys spending time with you.

Help us keep them healthy!

In years past, the good 'ol days we were able to cover annual vaccinations and rabies ourselves but times they have changed and we now find ourselves having to come to you, our incredibly amazing supporters for help.

We have 40 dogs needing annual vacs at a price of R285 each! Thats quite a chunk of change we know, but any donation will help us reach our R11 400 goal.

We have a date booked with the wonderful Malmesbury Animal Hospital - Dierehospitaal for the end of September, Dr Bezuidenhout will be coming out to the kennels and making sure each of our rescues are vaccinated against potential and preventable diseases. Keeping them healthy and happy.
