Pit Pals is turning 10 🎉 Is on like Donkey Kong!!!

We did it!!! You did it!!! No doom, no gloom and no cancellation. 104 tickets SOLD. That’s 104 humans who said YES to a Sunday with us, our rescues and a whole lot of fun. We’re over the moon happy. Seriously. Our hearts would’ve been in a million pieces if we had to cancel. Huge thank you. ###

Now let’s see if we can make it a full house 😁 selling all 150 tickets. That’s just 46 more dog lovers to fill every seat.

Everything’s ready, bakers are planning. Volunteers are bringing rescues for cuddles. And our MC Kurt Schoonraad is warming up to make sure the day is filled with uncontrollable, hysterical, laugh till your face hurts and then your wallet hurts too 😅 because those auction items are calling your name....kinda day!

She went from running scared to running towards life!

Cape Town - If you remember BREE, you remember the chase. Over a week on the run. Hungry. Exhausted. Trusting no one. We searched, we hoped, wanting so badly to help her. And then one day she stopped running. She was done. We scooped her up into our little van and brought her to the kennels for some much needed TLC.

Well, look at her now!!!!
You’d never say her past was so rough. Bree is an absolute ray of sunshine. She loves everyone. She loves life and all it holds. And enjoys every minute of every day! And is sooo ready to bring that love and light into your home.

3 years old, wearing a permanent smile and eyes that sparkle with that cheeky Bree look only she can pull off. Supermodel in front of the camera and an even bigger beauty on the inside.

She’s learned to love and trust again. Now she just wants to give it all to a family who’ll show her how beautiful the world can be. She's playful, full of life and absolutely can’t wait to start living and loving with YOU.

Best as an only dog. She’s not going to look for trouble out on walks, its just in a home, she'd prefer to be exclusively yours and you hers.

He’s never known life outside the kennels. Please help us change that by sharing his post.

Cape Town - ENZO came to us at just 8 weeks old. A puppy full of hope. Today he’s 3. That's three years of watching other dogs leave. Three years of waiting and hoping. Hoping for that one day when someone finally calls his name, followed with 'let's go home'.

Enzo is the best of both worlds, one minute he’s got the zoomies... ears flying, tail helicoptering, pure joy at just being alive. And the next minute he’s chilled out, quiet. Pressed right up against you, just soaking up being close.

He’s not asking for much. After 3 years of waiting, his wish list is simple.A family who will love him unconditionally and forever. A safe and secure home with a warm, comfy bed that’s all his. And maybe a calm, sterilized female friend to live, love and be goofy with.

We’re SO grateful. Honestly, our hearts would’ve shattered onto a million pieces if we had to cancel. But look...we’re so nearly there. Goal almost achieved.

Here’s where we’re at:
We need 100 tickets to make this birthday party happen. 20 more. That’s it!!! 20 more dog lovers to fill the room.

We’ve got bakers already planning. Volunteers lined up to bring rescues for visits. MC Kurt Schoonraad is ready to turn the auctions into absolute madness. Everything’s in place… we just need you.

She swam, cycled and climbed. Raising an incredible R10 500 for our rescues!

Kathy Leverton set herself 3 challenges to be completed in 30 days. She finished them in 26!!!!

Robben Island Crossing - 7.5km cold Atlantic water swim.
Cape Town Cycle Tour - 109km of pure pedal power.
And 13 Peaks Challenge - 120km. 6000 elevation gain over 5 days straight.

'Just another little brown rescue dog' the type that sadly often gets overlooked. But she's so much more than just the color of her fur! She's Independent, adventurous and full of love.

Cape Town - 5 month old Tina’s comfortable in her own space. She’s an explorer, wanting to see, smell and basically 'check out' anything that pique's her interest 😊 she’s got that curious streak.

But the second she sees you, she’s done pretending to be independent. She'll come running, happy barks and a full body, wiggle welcome. With the hello’s done, she'll settle in for some serious lap cuddles. Leaning into you. She shows love by just being near you.

With an introduction, this independent woman would secretly 😉 love a male companion to hang out with.

Last of her litter LILLO 🩶 She's not looking at the camera, she's looking through it. For you!

She's watched all her siblings leave for their forever homes and of course she's over the moon happy for them. But at the same time she sits, waits and wonders 'when is it my turn'?

6 month old Lillo gets so excited when you walk into the play area, her whole body from tip to tail... whips, wiggles and wags with joy. Always wanting to be close. So wanting to love you.

And she really wouldn’t mind a calm, male companion she can learn from as she settles into her forever after.
