Our shy and beautiful girl Storm has finally found her forever home. 💕

A heartfelt thank you to Rita for adopting her and giving her the most loving home she could ever dream of.

We are also so grateful to Kim for driving her all the way to Mooresburg – such dedication makes happy endings like this possible.

Storm, now called Spot, arrived as a shivering and scared little pup. But in just a short time, she has started to blossom, following her new mom everywhere and learning what it means to feel safe and loved. 🌸

She couldn’t have asked for a better home – a beautiful garden, gentle care, and endless love. Spot is truly one lucky girl. 🐾

At just 25 weeks old, Chocolate is already stealing hearts with his gentle eyes and soulful presence. He’s an Africanus pup with a heart full of love and a future full of promise.
Out of his whole litter, this boy stood out — not just for his stunning good looks, but for his calm, loyal nature. 💙

We are over the moon for this precious little boy 💕

He came to our clinic to be sterilised, but sadly, when Kim and Rika went to fetch him, his owner said he no longer wanted him because of his deformed foot… 💔

But fate had other plans ✨ When Kim’s mom, Diane, arrived with her foster kitten for sterilisation, she instantly fell in love with this sweet soul. Foot and all, she scooped him up into her heart and her home 💗

Now named Stuart Little, he is the most adorable lovebug, and we couldn’t be happier for this happy ending 🐾😍

Thank you, Diane, for opening your heart and giving him the love he deserves 🙏💞

💫 Adoption Update 💫
Our sweet Stacey has been adopted — in less than an hour after her post went up! 🐾❤️

She has gone to the most amazing home with Lois, a long-time LEAPS supporter and adopter. We are so grateful to Lois for once again opening her heart and giving a rescue dog a second chance at the beautiful life she deserves.

Stacey, your forever family has found you and a new sister to play with — and we couldn’t be happier! 💕

We registered LEAPS as a non profit organsation in 2009. 💥💥💥💥
What keeps us going is the longstanding relationship we have with so many organsations and donors. We feel this must surely be testament to the work so many of us do to help animals in desperate need of care. We have been a recipient of the Dog Box Project for as long as we can remember. Thank you to , and , for this year's amazing donation of dog and cat food, and beautiful, warm blankets. We are incredibly grateful to be part of this wonderful project.❤️❤️

How will we ever find the words to thank who have this past week sponsored 60 animals in our townships to be sterilised. To put that in perspective, that will prevent the birth of approximately 600 cats and dogs. On top of that, Adele from Giving is Living spent her “day off”on a Sunday driving from Cape Town to Lamberts Bay to drop off kennels (a 3.5 hr drive each way), kennels made by her and her incredible team❤️. Not only will 60 dogs not have to suffer the continuous birth of unwanted dogs and cats, but so many of them will sleep warm in a beautiful kennel. We cannot thank Giving is Living enough. To top it off, Animal Lifeline shared their recent donation of dry food with us, so with our recent donation of tinned food care of Giving is Living, all our sterilised dogs and cats, went home with packages of food. Finally, thank you to Dr Elizma and her amazing team from EnviroVet ❤️ for another seamless sterie campaign.

There are not enough words to express our gratitude❤️ to the amazing people at Mowbray Bowls Club 💥💥💥who are hosting the LEAPS Mowbray Ladies Bowls Day today🌹🌹🌹🎉. What a phenomenal day it has been, everyone has dressed up, shown up and the suppawt brings tears to our eyes. There are so many people to thank and hopefully you all know who you are. If you're looking for something to do today, come down and say! We'll be here until late and there are tremendous raffle prizes up for grabs. ❤️🎈
