Nazrudeen Adams is the founder of Youth Pet Care, a organisation in Lavender Hill that's making a difference for animals in need. They're especially known for treating puppies with parvo, a deadly virus, and have been doing some amazing work in the community. Recently, they've faced some challenges with the SPCA, who issued a cease-and-desist letter trying to stop Nazrudeen's life-saving work. But the community's rallying around him, with a petition getting over 130 signatures to support Nazrudeen and Youth Pet Care 🙏.

"PLEASE, WE BEG YOU 🙏

In Lavender Hill, the streets are not safe, and our fur babies are paying the ultimate price. Caught in the crossfire of gang violence, they're forced to roam for food, putting their lives at risk. We've seen it all: animals shot, stabbed, and left to die. The sound of gunshots and screams is a harsh reality, and our animals are the innocent victims.

We're begging the community: PLEASE HELP US FEED THEM SO THEY CAN STAY INDOORS 🐾. If we can feed them, they won't have to venture out into the danger. They'll be safe, and we'll be able to keep them alive.

Youth Pet Care is doing everything we can, but we need your help. We need:

- Pet food (any type, any amount) - it's the most urgent need
- Old blankets and pillows to keep them warm
- Safe shelters and kennels to protect them
- Medical supplies and medication to treat their wounds

BUT MOST OF ALL, WE NEED A MOBILE CLINIC. We need professionals to come into our community and help the animals injured in the crossfire. We need a safe space where our animals can receive the medical care they desperately need.

Guys, I gotta update everyone about Queenie 😊. I've decided to keep her myself! 💕 No more searching for a foster or forever home – she's staying with me 🐾💖.

"My heart is literally breaking into pieces... We've rescued sweet Queenie, and she's such a fighter, but we're in a desperate situation! 😔 We found a foster, but won't be able to take her till tomorrow. We CANT keep her here - our place is contaminated with parvo and I can't bear the thought of something happening to this little angel 😔.

We NEED HELP for just ONE NIGHT! 🙏 We're begging for R150 to board Queenie in a safe place, away from any risks. She's such a sweetheart, and deserves a chance to live a happy, healthy life 🐾💖.

I'm Nazrudeen Adams, and I'm reaching out for help. A sweet pup was found wandering in Lavender Hill, and we've taken it in. But we're in a crisis:
- NO WATER in Lavender Hill and surrounding areas
- NO pet food

My heart is breaking seeing this little one suffer 😔. We're begging for:
