"My dog's fine on kibble, why switch?" 🤔

Fair question. If nothing's visibly wrong, why change anything?

Here's the thing - "fine" and "thriving" aren't always the same. dry coat, low energy, soft stools, that faint doggy smell everyone just accepts as normal? 🐾 None of those are dealbreakers. They're also not nothing.

Kibble is designed to be shelf-stable and convenient. That's its job, and it does it well. It's just not designed around what a dog's digestive system actually evolved to process - high heat processing, plant-based fillers, and protein that's often been through several rounds of transformation before it hits the bowl.

Raw isn't about fixing something broken. It's about noticing what "good" could look like - shinier coat ✨, better breath, firmer stools, more energy in the park 🎾 - and deciding if that's worth trying.

No pressure either way. But if you're even a little curious what your dog would look like on it, that's usually where it starts 🐶

Did you know? Chicken hearts punch way above their weight when it comes to taurine, one of the most important nutrients for cats and dogs. Small organ, big job. 🐱🐶

Cats especially need this stuff. They're obligate carnivores — same wiring as their ancestor, the African Wild Cat — which means meat and organs aren't a bonus, they're the whole plan. Taurine keeps their heart pumping properly, their eyes working, and their immune system on the job.

Dogs get the perks too. Stronger heart, better overall function, same tiny organ doing a lot of heavy lifting.

The best part? Most cats and dogs go absolutely feral for them. Rare to find a "superfood" that doubles as a five-star treat in their eyes. 🐾

Ever caught your dog burying a bone in the garden... or trying to bury it in the couch cushions when there's no dirt in sight? 😅

It's not random, it's instinct. Long before dogs were couch companions, their wild ancestors survived on feast-or-famine cycles. When food was plentiful, they'd cache the extra for leaner days ahead. That instinct never got the memo that dinner's guaranteed now. 🦴

So even a well-fed, full-bellied pup will still tuck a bone away "just in case." Same brain, different bowl.

It's also why raw feels so right to them, a raw bone or whole food gives your dog the chance to actually use those instincts: to gnaw, tear, and yes, even bury, the way nature designed them to.
