Good morning all my amazing friends
I saw mommy didn’t post anything in a while so I just wanted to come and give you all an update on my recovery.
Since all the wonderful contribution we received I had a successful first surgery, the healing process was a long and horrible time but mommy and daddy kept me positive and looked after me.
I couldn’t jump, play or run with my siblings for 8 weeks. I had to be kept on leash even inside the house 🙄 I tried to play but mommy kept yelling for us to lay still. I was only allowed 5 min breaks 5 times a day outside and even then mommy or daddy was right next to me keeping me close. After 6 weeks I went back for a check up and they had to put a muzzle on me, cuz I really do not want those Dr getting close to me again 🤣🤪
After all that hard work and suffering, we were fortunate enough to have gone on a little break to Durban for our birthdays, my birth mommy, biological father and mine. 🥳
We really did love that, I was free to run and play on the beach and it is as if my leg never had a problem. Daddy taught me how to swim in the ocean, I just couldn’t wait to get back in. We saw monkeys 🙊 and crabs 🦀 for the first time, they were afraid of us, didn’t want to come and play. The monkeys sat in the trees and the crabs climbed the walls to get away from us so we just barked and tried to explain that we are friendly but they didn’t believe us. 🤨
I have added some photos of the trip so you all could see how good my recovery has been and how much we appreciate your help. we couldn’t have done it without you.
