Our Story
The Central Agricultural Society trading as Bloem Show facilitates profitable show opportunities of a high standard which serve the trade, agricultural and entertainment needs of the community.
Bloem Show combines 8 sections to ensure a successful annual show. This includes: Commerce and Industry with more than 100 exhibitions, 50 food stalls and an exciting amusement park.
The art and home industry section with more than 2000 entries by the community that include art, needlework,embroidery etc.
The horse championships by 5 different breeds, including the largest open-air Saddle horse championship in the world.
The Cattle championships section with 9 different breeds and two Interbreed competitions.
The Small stock championships section by 4 different breeds and the most popular National Sheep Sheering competition and the world goat show.
The Arc Hall that developed an exhibition area which is one of the most popular sites during Bloem Show.
The dairy section which accommodates more than 100 entries from dairy factories all over the country, to compete against each other.
The general show committee handles all matters regarding marketing, entrance, safety, entertainment, advertising etc.
