The truth is, what we donated is insignificant compared to what ResQ R.R.R gives every single day.
They give their time, their energy, their hearts, their homes, their sleep, and often their own resources to dogs who have nowhere else to turn. They fight battles most people never see, and they do it because every dog deserves a second chance.
Supporting organisations like ResQ R.R.R is the least we can do.
If you've been looking for a way to make a difference, please consider supporting their incredible work. Whether it's a bag of dog food, a few blankets, cleaning supplies, a monetary donation, or simply sharing their posts, every contribution helps them continue saving lives and feeding hungry mouths.
The rescue world can be a tough place, but together we can make sure they never have to fight that battle alone.
Please give ResQ R.R.R a follow, support their mission, and help them keep being a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.
The real impact isn't measured in donations. It's measured in wagging tails, full bellies, and dogs who get a second chance at the life they deserve. ❤️🐾
Today we didn't receive a rooibok. We received a little more time, a little more hope, and the ability to say "yes" to the next animal that needs us. ❤️🦌🐾
Sometimes rescue is terrifying.
Not because of the abuse cases.
Not because of the emergency vet bills.
Not because of the sleepless nights.
But because every single day, animals depend on us, and sometimes we lie awake wondering how we're going to keep going.
How we're going to feed everyone.
How we're going to save the next one.
How we're going to stretch what little we have just one more day.
Today, something happened that hit us right in the heart.
Modderpoot Brak Park donated an entire rooibok to R.R.R.
As we stood looking at this beautiful animal, all we could see were the faces of the dogs who will eat because of it.
The dogs that arrived starving.
The dogs that were thrown away.
The dogs that nobody wanted.
The dogs that only know full bowls today because complete strangers chose to care.
People will see a rooibok.
We see hundreds of meals.
We see wagging tails.
We see old dogs eating comfortably.
We see growing puppies with full bellies.
We see hope.
And in rescue, hope is sometimes the most valuable thing of all.
Modderpoot Brak Park has been part of our story for a long time.
They know Amara.
They watched her fight.
They celebrated her victories and felt the heartbreak when rescue reminded us that love doesn't always guarantee forever.
They have watched the Nero babies.
They have watched us pick up the pieces again and again.
They have seen the reality behind the photos.
The tears.
The exhaustion.
The sacrifices.
The impossible choices.
And yet, every time, they show up.
Not for recognition.
Not for attention.
They show up because they care.
Today, we cried.
Not because of a rooibok.
But because after everything we've been through, there are still people standing beside us.
People who believe in these animals.
People who believe in second chances.
People who believe in us.
To everyone at Modderpoot Brak Park .
Thank you for helping us carry this weight.
Thank you for helping us feed the forgotten.
Thank you for helping us continue Amara's legacy.
Thank you for reminding us that we are not walking this road alone.
Every bowl filled from this donation will carry a piece of your kindness.
And every life touched by it will be part of your legacy too.
From the bottom of our hearts...
Thank you.
