Please note that going forward all non emergency walk ins will be charged a SURCHARGE.

We please ask that you make appointments for multiple reasons.

-Our staff cannot fit in more than a certain number of consults an hour without affecting the quality of care we give

At HAVC we like to give QUALITY care.

-Appointment times are delayed by accommodating additional clients which means those clients making appointments are waiting longer

-Patients wait longer meaning more stress for them

PLEASE respect our protocol in order to give you the best possible care while making it as stress free as possible to all.

True Emergencies will however always be seen to first and accommodated.

Meet jack 🐈A special cat needing an extra special home 🏡

🐾Jack has been living at the practice for over two months. He was initially brought in as a suspected hit by car or dog attack.

🐾He had a broken pelvis, broken tail and his skin was ripped off his back.

🐾Jack is the perfect patient with the most beautiful nature we have possibly ever come across. Despite all his traumatic injuries he has been nothing but tolerating and kind.

🐾Unfortunately halfway through his treatment Jack’s owners decided they could not afford to continue and opted to put Jack to sleep.

🩷Everyone at the HAVC family had already fallen in love with Jack so we asked if they would sign over ownership to us rather. Which they did.

🐾His pelvis has healed and his skin has healed 50%. He still has a way to go with his skin but he will get there.

🐾He is feline aids and feline leukaemia negative. He is vaccinated and neutered.

🩷He will need a home that is secure that he cannot wander.

🐾He will need regular checkups.

🐾He needs to be fed a quality diet.

🩷🏡Most of all he needs a home who will give him all the love he deserves!

If you have visited us on a Saturday over the last couple of months you may have seen two new faces.

We have two lovely vet nurses helping us with our Saturday load so things flow a little easier.

These lovely ladies are able to do vaccinations, nail clipping, a**l glands, Librela/ Pentosan/ Cytopoint injections, bandage changes as well as giving your fur kids some extra love and care!
