✨ Brush-out transformation ✨

Not every transformation starts with a bath.
This handsome Rough Collie didn’t need one—just patience, the right tools, and a whole lot of brushing.

Removing loose undercoat, working through tangles, and restoring that beautiful natural coat can make all the difference.

I made a special trip to groom him in the comfort of his own home, where he could stay relaxed and stress-free throughout the process.

The result? A healthier coat, less loose hair, and one very handsome Collie. 🐾

Meet Captain, a 14-year-old Bichon Setter. 🐶💙

I normally groom from my home salon, but for Captain, I made a special exception and groomed him in the comfort of his own home. 🐾❤️

Captain was dealing with heavy matting and was ready for some much-needed TLC. After a gentle groom and fresh bath, his transformation was incredible. He went from tired and weighed down to happy, comfortable, and full of life again.

The sparkle in his eyes, the bounce in his step, and that wagging tail made the trip completely worth it. ✨⚓️

Meet Murphy! 🐾

This big, handsome 9-year-old Lab/Collie/Blue Heeler mix came in for a much-needed deshedding session today.

We started with plenty of line brushing to loosen up all that coat, followed by an undercoat rake to remove the excess undercoat. ✨

Our original plan included a bath, but Murphy made it very clear that wasn’t on today’s agenda! 😅
We also managed a little tidying around his hocks, though he wasn’t too keen on having his feet and legs handled.

Every dog has their own comfort level, and Murphy did a great job letting us know his boundaries.
❤️ We’ll take things at his pace and look forward to seeing him again soon for the next step in his grooming journey!

One of the most satisfying parts of grooming? 🐶

Removing loose undercoat and helping your dog feel more comfortable.

Loose undercoat can trap fur, dander, dirt, and debris close to the skin. Regular de-shedding helps remove buildup, improve airflow, and support a healthy coat.

Today’s groom was all about finding that happy medium—and we think Buddy wears it pretty well! 💙
Freshly bathed, brushed, clipped, and tidied from nose to tail, this handsome boy was a superstar throughout his appointment. ✨

Grooming is never one-size-fits-all. 🐾

I work at the dog’s pace and adjust my approach and plan throughout the appointment — offering breaks, water, p*e breaks, and time to decompress.

If a groom can’t be safely completed, I will always choose the dog’s wellbeing over finishing the haircut. Humane care and emotional comfort come first. 🤍

That may mean a dog goes home unfinished or with an uneven haircut — but their comfort and safety will always matter more than appearance.
