🥇 Whirlwind 24" PE/NB Regional Champion🏆 with 5/6 clean runs 🖤 She absolutely smashed it this weekend, beyond proud of what she did out there.
Hillbilly Deluxe 20" Regular 6th Place finish 🖤
I'm happy with what we did out there despite her mental break down. 2/6 clean.
Rough weekend mentally, she could not handle the environment. Dogs before her running sent her over the top, and then dogs behind us using the warm up jumps, was just to much and her brain exploded.
She went into the ring with so much arousal, and a single brian cell, that by day 2 she had zero startline.... i carried her into the ring in one run ....not fun , not ideal, and hard to handle.
My saving skills were her great send go go go, and a very solid right and left 😅 thank you directionals !
She knocked a few very important bars - 1 being the last jump in the main gamble, her opening was brilliant 🖤 and a bar in Jumpers 1.
It's back to the drawing board with her mental health 😆 and jump grid work ..... lots and lots of jump grids need to be done.
But ! This week before the UKI cup, my focus with them both will be foundations, easy stuff and lots of rest. No course work, just build up the foundations that clearly need to be revisit 🖤
