Fighting, injuries, and infections — this is the harsh reality for many intact male dogs 🐕🐕🐕
During a fight with other in-rut male dogs, Copper was badly bitten, leaving him with a painful open wound on his testicle that became infested with maggots. In pain and distress, he fled and sought refuge outside a small noodle shop. Thanks to a kind shop owner, we were called to help.
Our Animal Rescue team rushed Copper to Jai Dog Hospital, where our vets carefully assessed his condition and treated his injury with the care he so badly needed.
Unneutered dogs are far more likely to fight, roam, and suffer serious injuries like this. Alongside his treatment, Copper was also neutered through our CNVR programme, helping protect him from future fights and serious health risks.
Now fully recovered, Copper is healthy, calm, and ready to return safely to his territory 🩵
