⚠️ Medical Emergency – Meet Harley ⚠️

🔴 $173 dollars for sweet Harley!

These photos are hard to look at, but this is a reality we face with stray dogs arriving at the shelter. We don’t know their past or how they got injured — only that they need our help.

This sweet girl is Harley, a 3-year-old, 50 lb pup who was brought in as an injured stray. Despite her pain, she is gentle and loving. Harley has a devastating injury to her back leg and may need the rest of her leg amputated. On top of that, she is heartworm positive and will need treatment, along with any other medical care our vet determines necessary.

✨ Her estimated medical costs will be $1200 or more. Without support, Harley doesn’t stand much of a chance. Please help us save her life.

Today was a hard day. We lost 6 beautiful souls who never got the chance they deserved. So many of you shared, posted, donated, and did everything you could to help them. But sometimes, despite every effort, the reality of rescue in a community overflowing with unwanted dogs is unbearably painful. We all feel that loss deeply.

But in the middle of heartbreak, there are reminders of why we keep going. Many of you will remember King — a dog we shared, one so many of you rooted for. Because of all the voices that spoke up for him, King was tagged by a rescue and is now adopted into a loving family. His life is full of hope, joy, and the second chance every dog deserves.

Rescue is hard, but stories like King’s are why we keep fighting. If we each do what we can — whether it’s fostering, adopting, donating, volunteering, or simply sharing — together we can change the ending for more dogs.

For the ones we lost today, we carry you in our hearts. And for the ones still waiting, we will keep going. ❤️

We have an incredible rescue interested in pulling some of our Caddo Shelter dogs—but they need videos first!

If you’ve completed volunteer training and can go to the shelter to get some quick videos, please message us. We’ll send you the list of dogs this rescue is considering.

This small act could mean the difference between life and death—saving lives and clearing space for more dogs in need. ❤️🐾

We know the world feels heavy.
Money is tight
But these dogs didn't ask for this.

Try telling that to the dog whose heart will stop tomorrow.
Tell that to the mama whose puppies died cold and alone in a kennel.
Tell that to the dog who wags his tail as the tech walks him down the hall to his last breath.

If they could speak, they wouldn’t beg for pity.
They’d just ask for a chance.
A warm bed. A kind voice. A hand to tell them they matter.

But they can’t speak.
They can’t cry out when it’s their turn.
They can’t tell you they’re scared.

We are the only voices they have. And if we stay quiet, they die quietly.

Every second counts. Every share could be the one that saves a life.
