Relax N Romp K9 Care is a promising new business founded on a lifelong passion for rescuing and rehabilitating dogs.
I am Stephanie Hewitt, the founder of Relax N Romp K9 Care. My love for animals, especially dogs, began at an early age—so much so that "dog" was my first word. My journey into the rescue world started a decade ago when I found my first rescue, Lucky, in dire condition. Nursing Lucky back to health ignited a deep-seated passion for rescue and rehabilitation within me. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to rescuing, rehabilitating, fostering, and adopting out dogs, and I am now ready to establish my own venture.
Relax N Romp K9 Care currently offers a variety of drop-in pet services, including pet sitting, dog walking, in-home nail trims, medication administration assistance and reminders, support with vet visits, and my specialty, in-home rehabilitation. If your dog has suffered an injury, I am here to provide rehabilitation services either in your absence or in collaboration with you. Please reach out for more information.
I have extensive personal experience with rehabilitating injured dogs, which gives me confidence in my skills and the ability to acquire the knowledge necessary for effective pet care and rehabilitation. One of my most rewarding experiences was working with my dog named Moose, who, after a severe injury, regained her mobility through dedicated rehabilitation sessions, and became the best foster fail of my life.
My ultimate goal is to open a dedicated facility for daycare and boarding, with a special focus on caring for and rehabilitating dogs in need due to injury. I proudly serve the communities of San Jacinto County and surrounding areas and am committed to providing the highest standard of care.
