At home trims with Stella and Ares yesterday did not turn out successfully; that is only slowing me down, not quitting on them.
Their male owner is strong and patient, plus there were treats galore. I have been able to trim them twice before, but Stella's stress has increased and they do worse apart.
Five or six nails total were trimmed.
I bought some chamomile treats here from Teresa and will see how they do next time, also recommended some CBD oil.

Three dogs for nail trims sounds like chaos, but was well handled by this family, new clients.
Dad held Lola the pibble, who was very good, in one hand while in charge of the vet clinic paperwork in the other hand.
The daughter corralled the puppy, Reece's, while he tried to tell me "You are not the boss of me!"
Mom held Minnie Mouse the diva, who I think surprised herself by not needing to be a diva. She got snuggled and was thru fast.

This is new client Dip, the most unusual cat I have ever seen.
No good pictures because she was intent on affection: riding in a car, going to the vet, meeting a stranger, getting nails trimmed.."all good, Imagonna head butt everything." This included the camera and her crate door.
This family rescued four kittens at once and started on things such as nail trims early. It makes a huge difference.

Nice surprise when her owner showed up with her recent rescued fur sister a little later. This is Gigi and she is perfect also. They live close enough that he could bring them one at a time.

At my vintage booth H 10 at Antique Gallery in Spring, just off 2920.
Avoid booth fatigue, go straight to back row near right corner.
I get sales reports at 7 pm daily so do not know availability during the day. I can tell when I go there which is usually Thursday and Sunday.

This is Rosey, one of my toughest nail trim clients.....ever....which goes back to 1985.
It took quite a while, but she sits still, knows peanut butter is coming and it takes less than a minute.
If you have a less than cooperative dog or cat, come to our nail trim sessions here on Saturday, August 2nd.
I will be here from 10:30-11:45, no rain worry, it's inside.
Stock up on Egg Puffs treats, they are great.
