Bichon Rescue of Orange County California is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of neglected, abused, or otherwise homeless senior Bichon Frises, bichon mixes, and other small non-shedding breeds, placing them into permanent, stable, and caring forever homes. We believe in the value of our senior citizens as adopters as well as foster and are committed t

o their advocacy and support through our “Seniors for Seniors” focus. We believe in promoting awareness of the need to spay and neuter pets, and of the importance of proper medical, dental, and nutritional care. We believe in cultivating a volunteer spirit in our youth and educating them about the importance of pet advocacy. Senior Dogs:

We believe senior dogs contribute positively to our quality of life and have much to teach us about patience, respect, responsibility, loyalty, and unconditional love. We believe every senior dog deserves to live out their golden years, months, weeks, or even days in a place of love, security, and peace. We believe dogs are not a disposable commodity; rather, they depend on us to care for them through all stages of their lives. We believe in providing educational support, advocacy, and sharing of best practices for those who support senior dogs.

I’m still searching for my perfect forever home, and I want you to know I’m worth every bit of love you can give. I’m a happy little girl who never meets a stranger and charms everyone I encounter. I adore running around the backyard, “helping” with your weeds and leaves, and doing zoomies all over the house—I’m basically pure joy in a tiny package.
I’ve been through a lot, so I’m looking for a young, loving, and active family who’s home most of the time. I don’t enjoy being left alone, but if you take me with you, I’m the perfect little traveler.

She's just a baby, only 6 months old and is the sweetest little girl. The only thing we know about her right now is that she needs lots of love and good food. Shes a bit thin and only wants love from her foster mom.

Say hello to this adorable duo! Dolly (a fluffy 3-year-old Bichon) and Daisy (a sweet 3-year-old Shih Tzu) may not share the same mom, but they’re true sisters at heart. 💕 They’ve grown up side-by-side, and their bond is unbreakable — so they’re looking for a forever home together.

Each about 15 pounds of pure cuteness, Dolly and Daisy are healthy, gentle, and oh-so-well-behaved. They love their walks, but they’re just as happy snuggling on the couch for a TV marathon. 🎬🐾
