Our Evangeline Ride (standard, group ride) is approximately 1.5 hours in length and the cost is $69 per person, tax included. Group rates are available for more than 10 riders. We do offer a private ride option that ensures you/ your group are the sole focus of our tea

Printable PDF gift certificates are available by email with payment accepted by EMT. To order, send an email to [email protected] and include the amount and name of the recipient. Send your payment by email transfer - once payment is received, our team will send the gift certificate to you by email within 24-48 hours. Our gift certificates do not expire. Note: To use a gift certificate, rides must be booked in advance & the gift certificate must be presented during registration.

Service changes effective July 1st, 2026

Evangeline Trail Rides is changing insurance providers next month, and as a result we need to draw your attention to these changes:

ALL participants will be required to wear an ASTM-SEI certified equestrian helmet when riding at ETR, regardless of age. Helmets continue to be provided to all on arrival. You may bring your own equestrian helmet, but participants will not be permitted to ride in helmets designed for other purposes.

The minimum age for trail riding will be 10 years of age (proof of age may be requested). For those who have booked in the coming months for 9-year-old participants, please note that they will be required to have one-on-one support to pony their horse the entire ride, and there will be a small additional fee for this service.

New liability waivers will be in use, with individual waivers for every rider, with separate waiver forms for those 18 and under, and those 19 and above.


We appreciate these changes may be frustrating to some, but they have been determined by our insurance company, and we will not provide service if they are not followed. Thank you for your cooperation. Questions? Give us a call at 902-632-2637.

Up and at ‘em, getting ready for our Learn to Ride on the Trail group this morning before family Father’s Day celebrations.

This week is the second ride for our current group after a rain delay, and we can’t wait to see what today brings. This group includes a father/daughter pair, a grandmother/granddaughter pair, some brand new riders, some returning after a long break, and we have 3 who have participated in this program previously, and have returned to learn more and further their skills.

No matter what the reason, we all have times when we need a change of scenery to recharge and refocus - I’m sure you all will agree!

With the longer days and warmer temps, we are now offering some early evening trail rides. Here’s a peek at the sights you might see from Justa’s point of view as our lead horse on a recent ride.

With the late day sun glistening on the leaves, reflecting on the water, and warming horse and rider, this time of day is ideal for a relaxing walk in the woods.
