All these 4 beautiful angels are up for adoption, they were rescued by animal welfare officers and Bottle-feeding Whiskers bottle fed them and did an amazing job.

They are approximately 2.5months, chipped, deflead, dewormed and litter trained.

They are fine with dogs too 🙏

They will be neutered at the age of 6months by Animal welfare.

🇬🇧 🐾 Help Us Upgrade Our Island Sanctuary Gates! 🐾
At the Island Sanctuary, we use three wooden gates to safely manage two dog groups that don’t mix well. These gates are essential for giving our dogs longer, safer runs. But they’re starting to show their age—and some of our more athletic pups have figured out how to jump them!
We’re now looking to upgrade to taller, sturdier gates made from weather-resistant, dog-proof materials to keep everyone safe and happy.

UPDATE: We have collected 315e so far🙏

We rescued this yorkie which currently is being fostered by a kind soul. He needs surgery asap and without ur help we cant do this.

HANS DESPERATELY NEEDS A HOME

The last time I posted about Hugo and Hans was in may when unfortunately, Hugo had passed away. Hans was almost 3 weeks old but growing very slowly and at 3 weeks was the weight of a 1 week old kitten.

I continued giving all the care and attention that I could even if there didn't seem to be much hope. Together with the team at the cat section of Animal Welfare Malta we have been monitoring his health and progress.

By six months of age, Hans was the size of a 2-3 week old kitten. He always shows progress and reached milestones, just at a much slower rate than normal.

From a very early age I had noticed that Hans had a portion of his spine that was stiff. This coud be due to the mother being malnourished while pregnant or else developmental.

Hans had grown into a lovely, playful and active kitten who, like most gingers, loves his food. In fact, he doesn't stop eating until the food is completely finished so we have to be careful to give portions that don't exceed what he should be eating.

Last week Hans was taken for x-rays and it was found that he does in fact have a form of scoliosis though it's affecting his spine in two places. This does not stop him from living a completely normal life. He loves climbing the cat tree and playing with other kittens and has no issues that will prevent him from living a normal life.

Hans is now around eleven weeks old but the size of a regular 8 week old. He is ready to finally find a family of his own.

Hans does well with other cats and small dogs. He was bottle fed from birth and so it's very used to human contact. He is litter trained, dewormed, vet checked and microchipped. All he needs now is a loving home.

If you have space for an extra special kitten in your life, Hans is the kitten for you.

Intake #123 for 2025 – LIZZIE

Meet Lizzie, our little Bambi.

With her delicate, deer-like looks, she has already been through so much. Lizzie was sadly run over before coming into our care, but thanks to Dr. Luke’s careful treatment, her intake went as smoothly and gently as possible.

Now safe with us, Lizzie will need time, patience, and lots of loving care to heal and begin her rehabilitation.

💛 Please keep our little Bambi, Lizzie, in your thoughts as she recovers and takes her first steps toward a brighter future.

Maya is up for adoption, she is 3/4yrs old, a little bit shy till she gets to know you. Needs to be homed as the only dog.
Maya is Not toilet trained so whoever adopts Maya need to work on toilet training too.
