‼SpongeBob Update! If you have been to Mt Laurel HousePaws, you know SpongeBob.

He’s our main man. He moved to HousePaws’ pond after a long time client was moving and he needed a new pond.

It’s with mixed emotions I share he has moved once more. He grew too big for our pond and started to have health problems due to the pond size . Our friends at Landvista Aquascapes came immediately when we realized he was having problems. Got him back to health and he now resides in their big pond with lots Of other koi friends. We can’t think Landvista enough for their quick action, and also their care and compassion for the loved ones with fins. 🐟❤

Many have met Dr. Mandi already, but we wanted to officially introduce her to everyone! Welcome Dr. Mandi! 🐾💕

Dr. Mandi has always had a passion for animals, growing up surrounded by pets and inspired to care for them from a young age. She pursued her undergraduate degree at Delaware Valley University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Small Animal Science in 2019 with the goal of one day becoming a veterinarian. After graduation, she worked as a veterinary technician—three of those years with HousePaws—and continued her work with the team while pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Louisiana State University. She graduated with the Class of 2025.

Dr. Mandi is committed to providing compassionate, personalized care to every patient and values building strong relationships with both pets and their people. Her interests within the veterinary field include animal behavior and preventative medicine. She’s excited to be continuing her journey with the HousePaws family in a new role as a veterinarian.

Outside of work, Dr. Mandi enjoys spending time with friends and family, caring for her houseplants, trying all kinds of crafting projects, and taking her family’s boat out on the Rancocas Creek. She shares her home with three cats and one dog—and proudly embraces her title as a self-proclaimed cat lady.

Paw burns are common right now & totally avoidable. But they can happen to anyone! Please follow these suggestions when walking your dogs in the summer heat:

🐾 walk in the early am or later pm when it starts to cool.

🐾 walk on the grass not the pavement.

🐾 follow the 7 second rule. Dont allow them on the pavement for more then 7 seconds. Mainly enough time to cross a street.

🐾 buy some booties for their feet when walking.

🐾 check their paws after a walk.
