he well-being of animals and the people of Monroe County, Southeast Ohio. Every role in our shelter is filled by passionate volunteers, and we operate without monetary support from state, federal, or local entities.

💙 Our Mission: We are committed to the general welfare, sheltering, and placement of animals, preventing cruelty to animals, addressing animal overpopulation, and educating our community on the humane treatment of all living creatures.

COURTESY POST: This is Beasty. He is a 3 year old male AKC registered English Mastiff. He is neutered, housebroken, and gets along well with cats. However, he does not get along with other dogs. He has a friendly temperament and loves to cuddle. He is used to being around adults and teenage children. He is not a local pick up and you will have to travel to meet him. Meet Boomer — a sweet 10-year-old St. Bernard / Standard Poodle / Newfoundland mix.

Boomer came to us because his owners, David and Carolyn Turner, are no longer able to care for him due to age and serious health challenges. They love him deeply and want to see him spend his golden years in a safe, loving home.

Here’s what they told us:

“My wife is 75 years old and in poor health and I am 85 years old and in hospice. We pray that someone will help Boomer. Thank you, David and Carolyn Turner.”

💔 URGENT – Boomer Needs a Home 💔

Boomer is a sweet 10-year-old St. Bernard / Standard Poodle / Newfoundland mix who loves people and cats. He’s neutered, housebroken, gentle, and even drool-free!

His owners can no longer care for him due to serious health issues — one in hospice, the other in poor health. They’re heartbroken and praying for someone to give Boomer a loving home for his golden years.

‼️WE'VE GOT KITTENS‼️

The picture with 6 kittens in the carrier will be available soon, once they get feline leukemia tested and their vaccines. They are now flourishing! These babies and their Mama (Mary Jane) came to us, very sick. We immediately started meds and good food to get them healthy again. Little Joseph will visit the vet this week to see if his right eye is salvageable or not 🙏 Kittens are 8 weeks old. Mama Mary Jane will need tested, spayed and vaccinated before she can be adopted.

Jackson and Dallas are available now for adoption! These 2 ornery brothers spend their days romping and playing continuously ❤️ They have been feline leukemia tested, FVRCP/FeLV combo vaccine, Rabies, dewormed and flea treated. They are almost 5 months old and will be getting neutered soon.

Cayenne and Pepper are the last 2 pictures and they are females. They are spicy little boogers, but are now loving to be cuddled. They are 6-7 weeks old, flea and tick treated, feline leukemia tested and received their first FVRCP/FeLV vaccines.
