Sleepy sisters!!

From what I’ve heard from the folks who adopted the other kittens from Alissia’s litter, it sounds like all of them are super cuddly with one another 🥰

Of course, 50% of their waking hours involve nonstop wrestling lol, so it’s not all snuggles over here 😂

Mama and mini me 🥰🥰🥰

I’ve been so bad about posting on here regularly!! My main excuse is that I have one week until my master’s thesis is due, so that’s certainly keeping me occupied 😅

Anybody have a kitty who wakes them up for food at, like, 4 AM?? Every day?? *cough Pumpkin cough*

If you have tips for getting a cat to just chill until your alarm goes off (lol) please let me know! The kitties have access to dry food all night, but miss Pumpkin demands her wet food on her own schedule hahaha.

Anyway, it’s a beautiful day here in Connecticut! I hope you’re all having a wonderful Friday ☀️

Happy first birthday to Elianna’s litter!! 🥳🎉💕

Elianna was our very first foster kitty and she gave birth to her four healthy babies right here in our apartment one year ago today. I reached out to their adopters to get pictures for a one year update, and here they are!

All four of them (and mama) are THRIVING in their forever homes and they’re all loved so much 🥰. It’s been so rewarding to see this crew grow up!

Happy birthday to Savy (FKA Waffle), Chunk (FKA Chunky Monkey), Cisco (FKA Cookie/Zuko), and Yuki (FKA Chip)!! 🎂

Look how distinct Hazel’s stripes are getting as she gets bigger! Especially on her tail, but you can really see them on her entire body. She’s such a pretty kitty 🤩

It’s my 1 year anniversary of fostering! 🥳

Well, technically it was a couple of days ago, but I was out of town and forgot to post 😅

Who was around for sweet mama Elianna and her litter of four?? It was honestly the best introduction to fostering we could have asked for. Elianna was SUCH a good mama and such a sweet cat, too. These days she’s known as Chocho and gets to be a mama forever because she was adopted with three of our fosters from two different litters!

If you have a spare room (even a small bathroom can work!) please consider reaching out to your local shelters to volunteer as a foster! Kitten season has officially begun and shelters all over are in need of places for kitties like Elianna. If you’re local (in the New Haven/Branford area) please check out — they’re in need of fosters for pregnant mamas now!

As always, if anyone has questions about my fostering experience or how to get involved, please feel free to leave a comment or send me a private message! The more fosters, the merrier!
