A Tsunami has been generated from the M8.7 Earthquake off the coast of Russia. This is a dangerous situation and immediate action must be taken to go inland and seek higher ground!

UPDATE: COLLAR FOUND AND BEING RETURNED TO FAMILY

Pictured here is a man’s belt and a dog collar. We have sent the photo of the belt with a name stamped on it to the proper authorities.

First responders or search and rescue teams, please send us photos with the location or retrieve pet collars if you see them. We have pet owners looking for any sign of their cat or dog. Found pet locations may also be helpful in the search for their owners.

Photos of collars or leashes may be texted to 713.855.6291. They will be entered into a database.

Courtesy post for Yorkshire Terrier National Rescue: A tragic accident occurred on Sunday involving two dogs adopted from there rescue. Their owner was injured, and the dogs are currently at large in the woods. We kindly request that anyone with information about their whereabouts contact us immediately. Thank you!

Tyson and Buddy had their follow up appointments yesterday. The outcome was disappointing. After a full year of heartworm treatment Buddy is still heartworm positive. We will continue with the treatment until he his heartworm negative.

Tyson's biopsy came back showing cancer. A plan for treatment has been put into place.

They are in good hands with Karen she is upset but determined to do whatever it takes for them to be in good health. Their previous owners failed them, they disregarded their well being and neglected to do what is best for the animals. We wish Tyson and Buddy speedy recovery and good health!

For the safety of all animals, drivers and on board care takers ALL transports are canceled until further notice. All of the animals in our care are safe with their fosters away from flood areas. Our focus will now be directed on disaster assistance and relief. MANY floods happening in various states. If you want to help please share weather alerts. Also, many will need fosters and supplies. Together we can do more! Stay safe.
