When we got the farm (8 years ago) my husband asked me what ‘I wanted to do’ I wanted to have a geriatric dog rescue. He said NO F WAY! Since I had always been a pug lover, I said what if I tried to breed…again NO F WAY! So, I was bound and damned determined to get this pug puppy I saw online….up pops pig…so I say, what if I got a pet pig …’Pigs are so amazing, and smart! That would be awesome’ me: it’s going to live in the house, and wear tutus and snuggle. ‘When do we go pick her up?!!’
Well, I had never seen a pig in real life. I had never touched a pig…honest to god had no idea they had hair! But, off we went to days later and (🤦🏼‍♀️paid) for a pig.
I would do it 20xs over! If it wasn’t for Rosie I wouldn’t be where I am today. 50+ pigs have found sanctuary through our doors, most have found beautiful homes and 29 are current/forever sanctioned.
I always knew my life would be committed to animals, but If someone would have told me 10 years ago I would commit my life to pigs….so here i am,
Only 8 years later, with a promise i made this little babe in my arms. I will love you and protect you and show you a life all pigs should have.

DOLLY TURNS 3 WEEKS OLD!
This sweet girl is growing so fast! She weighed in this week at 6.7 lbs and is eating every 3.5 hours! She is finding her voice and is very talkative! I am so lucky to be able to take her to work at our local Warrenton Tractor Supply Co. and she has become the official mascot with her new work vest!
