We are a Grassroots Healthy Pet Treat company created with the purpose of carrying on the entrepreneurial and philanthropic endeavors of Karen Ann "Grandma" Mohn (1946-2013) As with the experience and smells of fresh baked cookies, Grandma Mohn set out to make healthy baked treats for her beloved Schipperke "Pookie", whom she adopted through a local animal shelter. When word began to spread about
how wells pups received the treats, she set out to share them with as many as she could and successfully came to agreements with a local grooming shop and grocery store chain. While the recipe has since been refined, it is our wish that your fluffy family member's will experience the love and well wishes for health and happiness baked into each treat.
