We are rebranding our business, renaming it it, because I definitely feel like a wizard when Im grooming these animals. Sometimes the before and after are so drastic . We also want to use a name NO other company is using. We are copyrighting it, branding it, and LLC'ing. I can announce our new name is going to be

Hello Furr Family. Im reopened, and It has been 13 LONG months of rehabilitation, surgery and alot of therapy since I closed, due to a cat, who I'd been grooming for a long time, unexpectedly mauled me, tearing tendons, ligaments and causing a massive infection. I dont blame the cat. I blame the owner, who hid the fact that her cat had been at the vet for an unknown reason. She's a long haired cat. Hiding under her long furr was a skin infection the vet missed. Had the owner told me this, I would have declined the appointment until they figured it out. She was on medication and antibiotics just "because." My doctor called this a "career ending" injury, He was wrong. Ive worked hard to regain strength in my hand and arm. It was my dominant hand so you could understand how awful this process has been. Why am I bringing this up? Because #1 the customer was someone I thought was a friend and she was absolutely awful towards me after. I blame her, not the cat. But because of this, I am going to be extremely vigilant on what any new customers tell me about their animal. Please be 100% transparent on the condition of your pet. If it's matted, let me know. If it's not feeling good, let me know. If it's been aggressive, let me know. I will still accept your pet with loving arms, but I deserve to be given correct information. I will find out once I get there anyway. Quotes are just that, QUOTES, given off of information you give me. If any information is misrepresented or hidden for a cheaper price,, you will not receive a refund. All new clients MUST prepay with cash upon my arrival, the amount quoted.

We groom cats that are in any shape. We have never had to sedate any animal that we've groomed because our holistic approach makes them feel safe with us. We do all types of fun styles and haircuts and also have experience with hairless cats. We love all size, breed, and temperament cats.

You're booking an actual 4 hour arrival window. If your appointment time is 12noon,. Your arrival window is 10-2 P.M. We will send a text when we are on our way. We do our best to be thete for your chosen appointment time, but when dealing with animals, we can not guarantee how an animal will behave. or how their coats will be until we start the appointment, to complete their spaw day within their time, but we do not rush. we give every animal the time they need to get thru their grooming appointment, so it's as stress free and safe as possible. if the window is an issue, call and speak to us.

If you book now, that is blocking a time for your pet and is a commitment. Please call regarding any prices, quote, and questions before booking. IF YOU BOOK NOW, IT blocks time for us, which means you've committed to our service. You will be charged a cancelation fee if you don't cancel within 24 business hours of our appointment. Saturdays grooming prices are 25% more, as is after hours and same day fees. If we drive to your location, the full grooming fee is due. If you BOOK NOW, you're booking an actual appointment, and you will be doing so with our cancelation policy in mind. If you're unsure of the cost, CALL 860-384-5455 FIRST. But if you pick a date and time, you're entering an agreement to abide by our cancelation policy. We have very limited time, and people booking without understanding the fees is NOW 100% not tolerated!

Recently operating costs have continued to climb despite our best efforts to keep them within reason. The cost of living has also gone up expediently, and we have had to reevaluate our operating costs and pricing moving forward.

New Pricing includes our Premium SPAW Day Services. Deep Ear Cleaning, Sanitary and Nail Trim, Body Massaging during bath, Shampoo, Conditioner, Blow Dry, Brush, light Deshedding and pur free blueberry facial.

Med 26lbs – 44 lbs: $120 and up

Haircuts Start at:

Poodles, Doodles, Bichons and Oodle Mixes may be extra.

New Clients with Double Coated Breeds, Annual or First appointment will include a Mandatory Deshedding Treatment. This is due to the overwhelming number of double coated breed owners not regularly maintaining their pets coats. This service is more than just our normal premium spaw package and is substantially more work. Maintenance, Deshedding and/or bathing your pet should be done regularly. After our first appointment,

DeMatting / aggressive Pet fee is depending on severity size of dog and behavior.

Out of area trips will also incur a trip charge of $25+ outside our normal area of service.

Same Day Priority $150+ plus grooming cost ( if available openings)

Warning: graphic images below. This is how i spent my late morning and afternoon. Grooming a cat is not for the faint of heart. These are the dangers we face when having to shave down a severely matted cat or dog who has never been groomed. We went slow, 😞 There were no warning signs. We finished the groom and I went to the ER. Unfortunately had to cancel the rest of our appointments today. Thank God for our understanding and loyal clients who realize I am only one person and sometimes have to take care of myself.

Because we are one of the only mobile groomers in the state to be accepting new clients, we are returning calls as fast as possible.

An absolutely amazing job replacing my entire water system on my mobile grooming van in southington ct! My new business had another incident amd we'd been closed for 3 months waiting on insurance. They came out, did AN AMAZING JOB and I am proud to say, after 3 months , Furry Paws Mobile Grooming is now reopened. I'm sorry for anyone who didn't receive calls during this time of closure. It was rough but we are more than tough!

The last week was wicked crazy. Illness hit us and hit us hard. We will see ya guys next week xoxo! If you haven't heard from me, make sure to call me. 860-384-5455. Also please make sure you confirm your appointments thru the system. Any appointment with 2 or more animals will have to make a non refundable deposit, of course refundable if canceled with at least 24 business hour notice.

A customer on Monday Booked us for 4 hours, didn't give the 24 hour cancelation like we so politely asked for and isn't paying the cancelation fee now. Remember , this kind of behavior gets you banned from our service. There are so many people needing service and to take my whole day of appointments is absolutely awful. I won't mention your name but you know who you are 😉
