It's official and AKC has recognized it. Willow has officially finished her Championship title! We are so proud of this girl and everything she has accomplished in the ring.

She has grown into such a beautiful representation of the breed while still being the same fun, loving girl at home. Watching her mature and succeed has been incredibly rewarding, and we’re excited for what’s ahead for her.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and cheered her on along the way.

✨ CH Black Tie’s Illusion in Lace ✨

We are beyond proud to announce that Willow has officially finished her AKC Championship—earning her title with 3 major wins and 4 singles.

At just a day shy of 17 months old, Willow’s journey has been nothing short of special. She made her debut in Cape Cod, MA, where she kicked things off in style with a 3-point major win. After taking a short break, she came back out this spring with Kathy Musto and Dave Musto who guided her to the finish line with incredible consistency and presentation.

Her remaining points were earned across:

Kansas City, MO - 3 singles
Louisville, KY – two 4-point majors
Columbus, OH – final single to finish

Willow had the honor of winning under an outstanding panel of judges throughout her career, including today’s finishing win under Judge Mrs. Honey Anne Glendinning.

A heartfelt thank you to Dave and Kathy Musto for your dedication, care, and expert handling. You brought out the very best in her every time she stepped in the ring.

This title is especially meaningful as my first Champion Great Dane, and even more so as a Bred-By Champion.

To say we are proud is an understatement.

Willow took Reserve Winners this weekend in Lawrenceville, GA under judge Mr Pierre Talbot. She showed wonderfully and we made some new friends. :) Willow is looking for her last point to finish!

Willow Update – We are beyond proud!

“Black Tie’s Illusion in Lace” (Willow) brought the heat in Louisville, KY, taking TWO 4-point majors - the official win picture is finally here!

To say we are thrilled would be an understatement. She showed beautifully and continues to exceed every expectation we’ve had for her. Watching her grow and come into her own in the ring has been so special.

Huge thank you to everyone who has supported, handled, and cheered her on along the way.

📍 Next stop: Lawrenceville, GA

We’ll be there Friday through Sunday, and Willow is looking for that final point to finish!
