🐾 Veterinary nursing abilities are highly valued! ⁣⁣

Your duties would include:⁣⁣
• Animal care & clean up⁣⁣
• Handing out meals like the hero you are⁣⁣
• Supervising zoomies & general farm shenanigans⁣⁣
• Puppy & pig cuddles ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
In return:⁣⁣

This is not just farm sitting, it’s stepping into a little world where every life matters. You can relax in our wood fired hot tub or infrared sauna in between hanging with the emus and donkeys. Or pop on down to the creek for a little dip or some fishing. ⁣⁣

We're heavy hearted today to learn of the loss of our dear friend, Rachel Stanhope. Rachel was a such a pure human. And she was a friend to creatures everywhere, a fierce animal advocate who spoiled all the beings she loved, furry or otherwise. The world is certainly a little less bright without her in it. May you rest in peace, beautiful girl. ❤️❤️❤️

🌟 Darn Good Dog of the Day 🌟⁣⁣

Today's good dog is Milo!!⁣
⁣
Gosh where to start!? ⁣
⁣
Milo is such a character. ⁣
⁣
At around 2-3 years old, he's got all the manners + house trained + LOVES to go for car rides + treat motivated + a doggo Olympic champion in the Adventuring & Snuggles categories + total smartypants...just an all around good boy! ⁣
⁣
Some things to consider about Milo are that he does require a lot of action. He loves stretchin' those long legs! Are you an adventure buff? Love to run? So does Milo! :) ⁣
⁣
He also showcases some stress around certain new people as is common in herding breeds that have endured severe abuse. We will make sure interested parties are fully aware of his nuances & are prepared to work with him to help him acclimate well. Milo needs a home with no small kiddos or cats as he is a sensitive soul & little people can be overwhelming for him. ⁣
⁣
Even with a quirk or two, Milo is beyond fun & has been in the shelter system for FAR too long. He is so deserving of a humans of his very own. ⁣
⁣

Whoopsie Daisy!⁣

How in tarnation did we forget these two beauties in our last post!? ⁣
⁣
Do you remember 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞 & her mama 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚? ⁣
⁣
They came to us right after Thanksgiving...skin & bones & shut down from fear. ⁣
⁣
Maria & Marmo were two of 17 adult dogs + 8 neonatal puppies we rescued from a hoarding case. 😥⁣
⁣
Both are absolutely heart-stealing love nuggets! They still carry the scars of abuse, but you better believe they still have the capacity for BIG love! ⁣
⁣
This week only, both these great dogs & many others are available for pay-what-you-please donations! ⁣

Each of these living wool pieces is a one-of-a-kind work of art. It takes hours of hard labor to create your living wool rug + shawl + couch throw + cushion cover + art piece + dog bed etc. & the possibilities of how you can use it in your home or on your body are endless!⁣⁣

In my humble opinion, living wool is the absolute BEST way to put a sheep’s haircut to use! ⁣ ⁣⁣

Hello Bozeman friends!

If you're reading this, you're a friend of mine and I probably don't need much introduction. ;-)

So here's the scoop.

I have an exceptionally special opportunity during my 40th trip around the sun and I need your support to make a dream a reality!

For those of you who don't know, I'm a Bozeman native & 4th generation Montanan. I also found out later in life that I am Native American of the Chippewa-Cree tribe.

My big news is that I have the great honor to ride in the Mongolian Derby in August!! As I was raised in poverty by a single mother, a life-changing chance of this magnitude is a phenomenal thing for me.

The Mongolian Derby is the longest, toughest horse race in the world. It entails riding half-wild horses across the Steppe for 632 miles.

The reason for this post is I am still quite short on my fundraising and sponsorships.

Death is such an illogical thing. ⁣

This is the 19th time I've celebrated my mom's special day without her being on this physical plane. ⁣
⁣
Each year is so different. ⁣
⁣
Some years without her feel so heavy I can hardly rise out of bed, but mixed with today's sadness, I feel a tinge of gratitude. ⁣
⁣
Grateful for the fact that she's pure light now, no pain or sorrow. As always, grateful for the fact she was my mother. I don't know anyone else with such a fiercely funny + incredibly intelligent + always sparking + always positive + always lovely + perfectly adventuresome woman to shape them. If you were loved by Dinky, you walked the earth a lucky one. ⁣

Happy 74th mama...you were as much an angel this side of Heaven as you are right now. We'll be in the mountains raising a rootbeer with our tuna fish sandos just for you. ⁣
