Look who is 10 days post op and almost fully healed. No more crate rest or cone collar of shame. He has been the perfect patient besides licking his paws. He is trying to rough house with Rumor non stop. Good boy Rogue is officially retired to freeloader status now. He gave it his best shot but stud life just wasn't for him. 🤣

Mr I refuse to exist with a cone collar on is being monitored outside for potty breaks. He side eyes me like I'm a perv every time I ask to check his incisions and make sure no swelling or complications. He'd really just like to go p*e in peace 😅. Sorry helicopter momma in full force. Last day of meloxicam for him and so far he has been the perfect patient. Rogue thanks everyone for the well wishes!

Rogue is home now and on strict crate rest with his cone of shame. He whined in pain in the car all the way home and couldn't get himself up into the car, momma had to lift him in. We are gonna keep him separated from Rosie and Rumor for the next 10 days to keep him calm and promote quicker healing. So glad he made it through. And of course clean bill of health with his blood work and negative f***l and heart worm test! I got the next few days home with him too to keep a watchful eye on my guy.

Please send some Prayers and good healing vibes for my boy Rogue today as he was dropped off early this morning for his neuter ablation and pexy.
I always have slight reservations to neuter after losing our sweet Rambo to a pexy neuter complication a few years back. Rogue got 100 kisses before he walked off with the vet tech this morning. I am covered in white dog hair at work thinking about him until the vet rings me with an update!

Oh Rogue my goofy boy. He insisted this pile of Roots (I think?) must come everywhere with him. Why? I dunno but he tried sneaking it back in the house. oohh boy if looks alone could kill when I told him its not coming inside 🤣 He likes to test mom's patience . Hes getting the big snip on Thursday so only a few days left of manhood!!

Don't let her pretty face fool ya, she has been a total menace now that its warm out and her spirit has awakened😅 she runs laps to get her zoomies out and then bite Rogue's ears until he cries because she is a big bully who doesn't play gentle and he's too soft to correct and teach her a lesson! 70 degree Sunshine and puppy zoomies. Rosie ain't much for the jumping and playing like Rogue and Rumor but she is sure just happy to be here.
