As a rescue, we get the privilege of loving the unwanted. As a rescue, we try to find the best homes for our kiddos. There is nothing more satisfying, than knowing that the people you adopt to, are willing to make a difference in the life of an unwanted pet. We have only been disappointed in our choices of adopters a few times & we got our babies back. This is not the trial period that we do, that I am talking about. There needs to be a trial period to make sure that everyone agrees what is best life for all involved. Because rescues have many, we do not get to interact as we would like to with the animals in our care. We don't get to do lots of special things, because frankly, we don't get to really leave the animals for too long. So, it is always gratifying when our adopters send us updates of the new additions to their families & what they find out about our rescues that we may not know. Why am I saying this? Because recently, 2 of our babies got adopted & the adopters found that the dogs, LOVE water. Of course, we didn't know that. We love the pictures of happy families & knowing that our rescues get a 2nd chance at a happy life that they deserve. We love getting updates. We never tire of the pictures or text messages letting us know what is happening in their lives. Winston & Millie went to different homes and we received pictures of them at the lake & beach. It is wonderful seeing them living the life. We have many adopters who share pictures, adventures and life with us. If you have adopted from us, know that we appreciate what you have done with our rescues. We are so thankful that you chose a rescue animal to help. If you are someone who has donated to our cause. Know that we appreciate you too! If you support our efforts, we appreciate you too! It takes a village to help just one. Without each group, we could not do what we do. Thank you to each one of you who are a part of our group. We look forward to helping the unwanted find the life they deserve. See the pics of Winston & Millie at the lake & beach. Thanks again
