This rainy wet weather is calling for some soup! Try this mild chorizo from the chilled section, sautee chopped yellow onion and celery, add in garlic and some seasonal veggies (I used celery& carrots), some fresh thyme, add beef broth, heaped tbps tomato paste, a cup of pasta, tin of white navy beans. Simmer soup till veggies are soft and pasta is cooked. Season with salt&pepper. Voila, you have a comforting bowl of delicios soup! The kids asked for seconds!

🍅 Tomatoes - what do you do with them?

Tomatoes ripen quickly and don’t always give much warning.

Fact: unripe tomatoes are best kept at room temperature, away from direct sunlight.

A quick check of the fruit bowl can help stop good tomatoes ending up in the bin.

Make sure tomatoes are stored separately from ethylene-sensitive produce like leafy greens, potatoes, broccoli, carrots, and cucumbers.
