TruckStop and I made our show debut together with this round!

I learned a lot of new things about this boy today. Excited to keep getting him out there and back to a good height!

Roxie - 14.3-15h pinto

~13 year old Roxie is also looking for her next human. At the in between of pony and horse, Roxie can accommodate a child or small adult. She requires a more advanced/brave rider as she can get strong. With the right training, she could come around to be a very pleasant horse for the right person. I think she would excel as an event horse.

Roxie jumps full courses and has even gone around our XC field, jumping ditches, and other obstacles with no fuss or fright. She is kind and sweet on the ground. I’ve even barebacked her around and she had no issues with that. She would also excel as a trail horse or play day horse.

Flashy 13.3h POA - Autumn

Autumn is ~13 years old and probably the cutest pony on the facility. She needs her own little girl to take her to shows and spoil her.

Autumn does require a more intermediate/advanced rider as she does have her testy moments. This is nothing more than a crow hop into the canter here and there. Kick her through it, and she doesn’t do it again. I believe she will be fantastic with a lot more consistency, as she only gets ridden once every week or so.

She jumps full courses and has even gone XC schooling in the past. She can be quick, but with more consistent riding and soft hands she will make someone a fabulous pony as she is quite fancy. Loves to stretch at the trot and will go around quietly. Biggest vice is she can be hard to catch at times.

Priced in the high 4s. Will make someone a really nice pony.

Tall, flashy, and handsome!

TruckStop is a 2012 model ready to go in any direction. Before coming to us, he was showing in the baby greens in Louisiana. Since coming to Texas, he’s been used as a lease horse.

Unfortunately, with Covid and other things, we do not have the riders this guy needs. He needs an intermediate/advanced rider that knows how to put him into a frame to carry himself. However, he is straightforward and honest. Would be a fantastic hunter for someone on a budget, or even go on to be an eventer. With the right rider, he does carry himself in a frame and would score well in dressage and has not shown any fear whilst jumping in our small XC field. He would make an ammy a fabulous mount.

He is currently coming back into work as he received a laceration above his coronary band, but is completely healed and just has a scar. It does not limit him in any way. That being said, he’s been off for ~6 months. The only videos I have of him are where he is at currently. I have some flatwork and small jump videos available. (All that being said, first time jumping after 6 months off was extremely non-dramatic).

Listed in the lowest of 5’s, but willing to negotiate to an awesome home.

Luna - 15 year old appendix mare, 15.1h

Luna has been used in a lesson program and then leased out to an intermediate rider for the past several months. Rider has moved on to a more advanced horse and we do not use her as much. She’s mostly been sitting, but I hopped on her today (my first time riding her) and ride her around just fine after having a month or so off. Luna wtc, knows her leads, jumps courses, and is super sweet and sane on the ground.

She would be very well suited as a wt/cross rail lesson horse. She can do much more, but would need some help balancing in the canter. Not spooky and very quiet disposition and lovely to be around. Would also make some kid a good 4H or would happily go be a trail horse. Only maintenance is front shoes.
