This is one of the GREAT dogs that is arriving in Sept. This girl is Emory, she is such a perfect pup. Would fit in with most any family. She is well mannered, loves people, kids and great with other animals as well, dogs and cats! She is the full package folks. Please get an application in ASAP if interested in adding this girl to your family. Emory is a happy, playful, and affectionate pup who’s ready to grow up with her forever family. She’s smart and already knows “sit,” but will benefit from continued training as she’s still a puppy. She’s wonderful with other dogs, cats, and kids. Lilo loves to run, explore, and then snuggle up for cuddle time. She has a heart full of love and is looking for someone to give it to! ??
I am so excited to share an update & these pictures of Emory. She has done extremely well since arriving Friday. She is warming up to things quickly. She loves playing with her toys, she has been enjoying sunbathing outside and learning how to play fetch ( we are still working on it 😉). She is doing better with the command “sit”, sits for all of her treats and during feeding times. She is walking 2 times a day on her leash and has made progress. She doesn’t pull while walking, but is still working on not criss crossing in front of you. She has been eating and drinking normally and has not had any accidents in the house. She is still working on getting use to her crate, we are trying to make it a very positive experience being in the crate, but she is still unsure.
She is so loving and really loves cuddles and belly rubs. We are very proud of her!
8-3-25 Emory Update:
Emory has had a great first week. She is doing very well with her routine. She loves to wake up and go for her morning walk. She is doing great walking on a leash, she has stopped criss crossing in front of me while walking. She has made progress on our walks getting more comfortable walking past neighbors, before she was very timid, but over time she doesn’t care as much. Right now she is walking in the morning and before bed.
She does well at feeding time and is eating each meal in her crate. She also goes in her crate when my husband and I have to leave. My husband mostly works from home but there are days when he has to be gone and she has done well.
