🐕 Join us at the outdoor " Last Hope Thrift Shop & Dog Fashion Show" on Thurs. Aug 7th at 5:30pm on Wall Street, Huntington Village. 👩
Our Fashion Show is part of Huntington Chamber of Commerce 's SUMMER IN THE CITY event.
Wall Street is closed to traffic & turned into a pedestrian mall on certain days , the next day being August 7.
On Aug 7th Wall Street becomes the Huntington Village Block Party with live music, family-friendly games, food booths, contesrs, our FASHION SHOW, and more.
☆ Admission is FREE.☆
Our Fashion Show is set up to present some of our fabulous thrift shop clothing, shoes, jewelry & accessories on a red carpet.
Our models include Last Hope dog & cat volunteers, Thrift Shop.volunteers, and members of Huntington Chamber of Commerce....possibly 2 regular Thrift Shop customers .
The models will be wearing ensembles & accessories from our Thrift Shop on the next street- 310 New York Ave.
Some of the models will escorted by dogs ( who will not be dressed up because of the heat).
I will help the DJ introduce each model & dog to describe their outfit as each Super Model walks the red carpet.
Hopefully, 1 or 2 dogs for adoption from Last Hope Adoption Center in Wantagh ( 3300 Beltagh Avenue) will also attend, and walk the red carpet with a volunteer...and an announcement.
The Fashion Show should take no more than 20 minutes.
Other SUMMER IN THE CITY activities will go on until 9 pm.
