Young horse, young rider, and a great experience for them at the competing this weekend. This horse has gotten much fitter and changed shape repeatedly this year. Her saddle has served them well with easy adjustments and flocking as she built a topline and trimmed up! Her owner and rider do such a fabulous job making sure her body feels good and has appropriately fitting tack. ❤️

Saturday brunch just for me. After making gluten free pancakes and warming up leftover pad thai for two silly and picky nine year olds, it was finally my turn. Fun fact, two kind of unattended (i was feeding the animals) nine year old girls can do 478 craft projects by 9am 🤪

On tonight’s episode of saddle matchmaking with Auntie Ellie, we have this lovely Equipe Jump Saddle. He’s Italian, he wears skinny jeans and you can his abs through his shirt…he wants to jump all the jumps with a medium wide horse. Seat measures 17.5” but with the shorter flap I feel like it rides a bit smaller. Perfect for a petite rider. Panels are foam but nicely upswept for a shorter back- think compact warmblood type or a Hony. Nice sticky leather and lightly used. A steal at $3200.

Welcome to Saddle Matchmaking with Auntie Ellie! Where every saddle finds its match! First up we have a 17” short flap County Solution with a narrow tree. She’s a soft and mature lady, with ample life experience. She’s considering some light surgery for a little torn bit on her flap 🤭. She needs a horse that is narrow and relatively curvy front to back. Take her au naturale for an easy $1200 or treat her to a little flap repair and get her for $1500. Used saddle terms as usual: 2 day trial with a fitting or just buy it outright if you already know what you need- no returns. Sold as-is.

I am currently CLOSED for repairs intakes for the next two weeks unless you have an existing fitting/flocking appointment. If you need the name of someone to do strap goods repairs or anything western, please Email me.

I am juggling some serious health issues within my family that require frequent travel and I will be CLOSED the first week of September to focus on the beginning of school for my daughter. Thanks for understanding that I am the sole parent and human with a family first! I love being your fitter and saddler, and I will absolutely answer your inquiry as soon as possible.
