This past year, we were fortunate to receive a CHOP Cares Community Grant! This grant enabled us to offer Harvest of the Month programming to our school partners here at the farm. Each month, we cultivated a featured crop, learned about its nutritional and cultural significance, and make a dish to enjoy together! Thanks so much to CHOP for supporting inclusive nutrition education for our community!

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: Jenny 🌻

Jenny is our Community Program Manager! She coordinates all of our volunteer opportunities at the farm in addition to working with our programming students with her sister, Melanie!

Her favorite things about working at Reed's are teaching our amazing students and participants, watching the seasons change, and witnessing things like caterpillars becoming butterflies 🦋

Jenny’s loves traveling, spending time in nature, hiking, yoga, and watching the sunset on the beach! ☀️

She also works at Steve and Cookies on Monday and Tuesday nights, so make sure you say hello!

Jenny’s love for nature really shines at the farm and we love having her on the team ❤️

It’s Sunday so you know what that means- 25% off produce! Food waste is a huge problem, and since our market is closed Monday-Wednesday, discounting our produce helps get fresh fruits & veggies into more homes & bellies!

Any produce that does not sell in our market gets turned into delicious, nutritious meals! Our kitchen and community soup program use any leftovers, both helping reduce our waste and fulfilling our mission of addressing food insecurity 🥬
