This sweet boy, Boss, has only been in his lovely new home for a few weeks.
Initially he was wary of me, so it was great to see him relax as the session progressed.
When he was ready, he asked to rest his head on my shoulder helping facilitate my work with him 😍

A fascinating response from Mr P yesterday during his windswept massage.
This lovely sensitive horse enjoys work to release tight fascia along his back.
This time he seemed to facilitate his own release by gently rocking backwards and forwards into my hands.

As my clients know, I am fascinated by the Hyoid bones and how a restriction in this area can affect the entire horse.
The vagal nerves also pass through the Hyoid. These nerves are known to play an important role in self regulation and anxiety. I find many horses are highly responsive to work in this area.
