Nami is a 5 year old, 16.2 hand, bay mare who came to us in partnership with Beyond the Wire in Maryland. She is an incredibly sweet girl who raced 28 times. This Maryland-bred girl is a granddaughter of Not for Love.

Since arrival, Nami has been sweet, kind, and curious. She was always a good patient for our vet and good with our farrier. She has no vices and is good in cross ties and for baths. She enjoys any attention sent her way!

Nami retired with a non-displaced condylar fracture that has healed beautifully. She was cleared in July to return to full work without any limitations on her future! We've had a handful of rides on Nami (at least one video on the website) and she's been doing great under saddle. She's level headed, eager to please, and pretty straightforward for an OTTB!

Nami is currently turned out with a small group of geldings and one miniature horse mare. She's currently barefoot. Any adopter would be lucky to take this sweet girl home. She's going to be so much fun to bring along!

OpenThePodDoorHal (what a name!) is a stunning, 4 year old, 16 hand, grey gelding that came to us in partnership with Beyond the Wire. While "Hal" was in training, he is unraced. He retired early with a minor tendon injury and should have a terrific future ahead of him once he completes his rehab. This Virginia-bred is by Audible and out of a Najran mare. He has some cool sires in his pedigree including Into Mischief, Harlan's Holiday, Runaway Groom, and Storm Cat.

During his intake evaluation, Hal was gushed over by everyone present. He is absolutely stunning in person! He came to us after reportedly injuring a tendon during or after one of his last recorded workouts. Our vet scanned both legs and noted moderate enlargement in both front SDFTs but no core lesions. She commented that he is a very nice horse and should have an excellent (read: unlimited) prognosis for his next career once he's had enough time off.

Hal is currently handwalking and will be rechecked mid-September to see if he can graduate to a small paddock. Hal has no vices, is currently barefoot, and is available to someone interested in giving him the time off he needs to heal as his recovery should be quite straightforward. Ultrasounds are available for approved adopters.

This girl is as sweet as her name, Cookies and Cream!

Just My Type sure is typey! This 3 year old filly is just over 15.3 hands with a little room to grow. She came to us in partnership with Beyond the Wire after she raced just 3 times, never hitting the board. This pretty girl was bred in Maryland and is by MadeFromLucky and out of a Majestic Warrior mare which means she's got Lookin At Lucky, Pulpit, and AP Indy within a few generations.

This cute filly arrived just days after her last workout and was found clean legged and sound by our veterinarian. She's a touch tenderfooted behind after having her racing plates pulled which is very normal. As she just worked on August 2nd, she'll be getting some much-deserved let down time before we put her back to work.

Just My Type is available now to someone happy to give her some let down time and comfortable restarting her themselves. She's going to be one eye-catching mare once she matures and fills out!

Bright to you in partnership with Beyond the Wire we have chestnut filly Just My Type, grey gelding OpenThePodDoorHal (I know, what a name!) and bay filly Don't Gotta Tell Me. The gelding is coming to us to rehab from a tendon injury. The other two are expected to be more straightforward but all 3 will be seen by our veterinarian Wednesday for their intake evals.
