🐾 Helping arthritic dogs feel more comfortable

This lovely dog is receiving cold laser therapy to support arthritis management at K9 Back in Motion. 💙

Arthritis can make everyday activities—getting up, walking and settling comfortably—more difficult. Gentle canine massage can help ease muscle tension and encourage relaxation, while cold laser therapy may help reduce pain and inflammation.

Together, these therapies can support comfort and mobility as part of your dog’s veterinary care plan. Results vary, and treatment is tailored to each dog’s needs and comfort.

My aim is to help your best friend enjoy the little things: a gentle walk, time with family and a comfortable rest. 🐶

🐾 Meet Atlas—the gentle giant! 🐾

I recently had the pleasure of massaging Atlas, a gorgeous four-year-old Irish Wolfhound.

Atlas settled beautifully into his session and became completely relaxed. Canine massage may help release muscular tension, support circulation and mobility, and promote relaxation and overall wellbeing.

It was an absolute pleasure working with this beautiful boy. 💚

🤔 Have you noticed changes in your dog lately? 🐾

Sometimes, what looks like "just slowing down" or a mood change can actually be a sign of physical discomfort or muscle tightness. Because our dogs can't tell us when they are sore, keep an eye out for these common signs:

👉 Stiffness or difficulty getting up/lying down
👉 Limping or favoring a leg
👉 Reluctance to exercise, jump, or play
👉 Tight muscles or a hunched posture
👉 Changes in behavior, irritability, or decreased performance
👉 Senior dogs showing signs of age or arthritis

If any of these sound familiar, K9 Back in Motion is here to help! We provide mobile, certified canine myo-manipulative functional massage therapy across the Cairns Area.

From soothing Soft Tissue Massage to advanced Cold Laser Therapy for inflammation, we focus on restoring movement, one paw at a time. 🐾❤️

Let's support your dog's health and wellbeing together.
