During shedding, pigments and old skin layers can create dramatic red tones across the face, giving them a wild, battle-scarred look. 💥

Fun Fact: Iguanas shed in small, patchy sections, unlike snakes. Because of that, certain areas—especially around the face—can briefly show bright colors as old scales loosen and new ones push through. Nature’s glow-up process. ✨
