A volunteers story:
For more than two years now, I’ve been volunteering at BiBi Shelter🧡
Whenever I can, I go there to spend time with the dogs — to wash and shave them, feed them, clean their space, or simply play and give them the love they crave so much. 🐾💛
I also love joining events where we, volunteers, share the shelter’s story, introduce these amazing dogs, and raise donations to support them.
I deeply admire the shelter’s founder Thao — a truly strong woman who dedicates her life to rescuing and caring for abandoned and sick animals. Her work is both physically and emotionally challenging, yet she never gives up. I’m also endlessly grateful to the team of volunteers who give their time, energy, and hearts to keep this shelter alive 🤗
Volunteering here has brought me countless beautiful connections, one very special friendship, and even the greatest gift of all, my beloved dog Riky, who fills my life with warmth and happiness every single day. 🐶🧡
Supporting a shelter doesn’t just change the lives of animals — it changes our lives too.✨
At the shelter, I met my beloved dog Riky💛
I’m still not sure who chose whom, but I like to think it was him. On my very first day there, he jumped onto my back and stayed with me the whole time while I was bathing other dogs🐶✨
Then, for a year and a half, Riky patiently waited for me until I was finally able to bring him home. And now, after almost a year of living together, we are beyond happy to have each other🏡🧡
Some bonds are simply meant to be💕
