Pet with Wings is a 501(c)(3) Our mission
is to transport as many animals as possible from the Humane Society of STT, USVI and near by communities to rescue groups, shelters and adopters on the U.S. Thomas in overseeing the transportation of homeless dogs and cats to awaiting rescues stateside. The collaboration ensures that the stateside rescues are vetted and forever homes are found.

Thank you to the amazing team from Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters! Not only did they partner with Virgin Islands Spay and Neuter to sponsor a free community clinic this past weekend, they also flew off 11 community cats and dogs to further help be part of the solution for our pet overpopulation!

Our Story

The Pet with Wings Program works with the Humane Society of St. Thomas in overseeing the transportation of homeless dogs and cats to awaiting rescues stateside. PWW is funded completely through donations and volunteer support. Through donations, PWW is able to send the homeless pets to stateside rescues at no cost to the Humane Society of St. Thomas. But funds are needed to continue the PWW mission. Funds cover all the costs related to the transport: medical needs, health certificates, airline fees, ground transportation and travel bags and crates. PWW needs your support through donations and volunteering to continue to save lives. Please consider donating and/or volunteering.
