Verndale Nationals are a wrap for 2026 and we couldn’t be prouder of this group of humans and horses alike. While we took on quite a feat with the amount of riders and horses - the team rose to the challenge and helped each other through every step along the way. And above all - the amount of love and kindness shown to these hard-working animals was above and beyond. Without them, we couldn’t do what we do! 💛🖤

To sum up the show would be madness but we can say this:

Three of the four high point buckles up for grabs came home to Aerie Meadow Arabians!

The amount of ribbons from first to sixth were numerous, with each one being very special in their own way. A special shoutout to Sierra Skare for always going above and beyond to help everyone - the best assistant to the assistant EVER! Congratulations to every single one of you - on to Regionals and Nationals!

What a show Sahara Sands Spring Classic turned out to be! Team Aerie Meadow Arabians really shone ✨bright✨ under the big top 🎩 We loved the upgrades to the showbill, the new first place mugs, and the updated facility at the Lee & Rose Warner Coliseum at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. Thank you to the show staff for a great show!

✨Christine Zahler and Benvolio VO had another great show in the ranch - this team is clicking and we love every minute of it!
✨Rayna Hennessey and LS Xtreme Image ruled the roost when it came to walk/trot - from western to hunter and back again, this team is on fire!
✨Melissa Johnson and Marky Marc made their entrance for the show season, loping with style and winning top honors in the adult showmanship!
✨Kellen McNulty and Vincitore continued to win over the hearts of everyone, claiming top honors in ranch and western pleasure!
✨KaLeigh Berg and Into The Black took on the hunter ring with flare, exuding softness and beauty by their final ride!
✨Kathy Smedstad and Daniels Irish Rose competed in walk/trot 11&over, showing off the hard work they’ve done to move up to the full bridle and trot their hearts out!
✨Madison Boone and Phine Serinette spiced up the ring with their beautiful performances and outstanding equitation skills, taking home the 15-18 showmanship blue ribbon once again!
✨KaLeigh Berg and Eros Caymons Heart dazzled the crowd with their high stepping trot, moving up towards english pleasure and fine-tuning show hack and native together!
✨Rochelle LaDuke and LS Xtreme Image jogged and loped with the best of them, easily spotted as one of the top in their western and showmanship classes!
✨Sierra Skare and Sicario continued to improve with every ride, learning the western life together while still dabbling in equitation on the flat! Keep up the hard work, you two are stunning together!
✨Hadley Hoffman and Phine Serinette took on 14&U showmanship, earning top honors in a large class with a beautiful pattern!
✨Kellen McNulty and Eros Caymons Heart continued to improve ride after ride, smoothing out the kinks and looking fine as ever!
✨Alada Chanel EEC branched out from ranch and can now include hunt seat equitation, showmanship, and performance halter to her repertoire! This lady is a true, golden gem!

Next up, the NMAHA show in Verndale, MN. We wish all of our show friends the best of luck and successful rides at Region VIII this week in Lincoln, Nebraska!

What a weekend! So many highs that we aimed for floating on cloud nine and soared way over it. Roll the highlight reel please! 🎬

-Christine Zahler and Benvolio VO had their best ranch rides to date, claiming the unanimous first place decision from the judges followed by the Champion title! 🏅
-Alada Sidehustlin EEC completed his first ranch riding pattern at a show with Jenna Hoffman. Owner Courtney Lynch showed him in their first riding classes together - what a fine partnership this will be! 🩷
-Eros Caymons Heart and Kellen McNulty made their debut together, ironing out the kinks associated with learning English horses! KaLeigh Berg and Cayenne had beautiful show hack and native rides 🔥
-Phine Serinette and Madison Boone blew away the judges with their hunting, taking home multiple unanimous wins over the weekend! 💙
-Sicario and Sierra Skare are back and better than ever, showing off their western skills they’ve worked on all winter. Nice loping! 🐎
-Daniels Irish Rose and Kathy Smedstad rode in four walk/trot classes - getting better and better with each ride. Bring on that full bridle! Roe also had beautiful country rides with Jenna Hoffman and KaLeigh Berg, claiming a few blues for owner Kathy! 🌟
-LS Xtreme Image went hunt and western for youth walk/trot rider Rayna Hennessey, showing off their dual skills and with a smile to boot! Owner Kerri Hawk crushed it in the adult hunt classes, improving with each ride on this gigantic boy! 🤠
-AMA Chantilly Lace made her official show debut, riding in the schooling class and handling it with grace. She also competed in showmanship with owner Rochelle LaDuke, the future is so bright for this pair 🌞
-Alada Chex EEC is a rockstar once again! From sweeping his ranch riding classes to caring for his walk trot rider Hadley Hoffman, and back to building confidence with owner Elizabeth Johnson - the famous Billy Bob Jo is a true diamond 💎
-Into The Black persevered with rider KaLeigh Berg through some challenges, flashing back to his country english days, but keeping it together with beauty and grace. Owner Kerri Hawk made it into the ring with Linc for a solid walk/trot ride as well! 🫶🏻
-Vincitore may be last on this list, but he certainly is not last in any other aspect. Owner Kellen McNulty and Vinny dominated with high placings in both Ranch and Western pleasure. The duality of this team is out of this world, we are so proud! 💚

The first show of the season has come and gone just like that - what a blast! Thank you for a fun show Minnesota Arabian Horse Association! Aerie Meadow Arabians had a lot of firsts, in ribbon form and personal growth.

🌹 Rayna Hennessy and LS Xtreme Image showed walk/trot together, improving with every ride!
🌹 Rochelle LaDuke and LS Xtreme Image took second in a large HA Western Select ATR class!
🌹 Courtney Lynch and Alada SideHustlin EEC both glistened at their first show, placing in both large showmanship classes as a 3 year old!
🌹 Jenna Hoffman and Alada SideHustlin EEC followed up with a win in the HA Ranch Rail Jr Horse, his first riding class and first blue ribbon of many! The future is golden ⭐️
🌹 KaLeigh Berg and Alada Chex EEC came out on top in the large Champion Showmanship class and the gigantic HA Ranch Rail ATR, following it up with a flawless pattern and another win in the Horsemanship ATR
🌹 Hadley Hoffman and Alada Chex EEC went hunt seat together in walk/trot, making strides in ever class and looking sharp!
🌹 Vincitore shone bright like a diamond in both the Arabian Ranch and Arabian Western Pleasure classes - this horses dual skills are coming along, we cannot wait for his owner to come back from college and show him!
🌹 KaLeigh Berg and Into The Black had steady, consistent rides and hung with the big dogs in the placings!
🌹 Hocus Pocus EEC came to her first show and handled it like a champ, soaking it all up with calmness and having her first two rides at show.
🌹 KaLeigh Berg and Eros Caymons Heart blew away the judge with their Native Costume skills and is making leaps and bounds in her show hack and country work.
