On July 14, 1990, I married my best friend. Today would have been our 30th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, this wonderful man passed away 4 years ago from a year long battle with cancer. He was such an amazing guy, he was so smart and talented, he could fix or build anything. We had such an amazing love and passion of helping dogs and is why we started Gentle Ben's many, many years ago. Over those years, we have probably saved over 1000 dogs and have helped so many families who could no longer care for their beloved pets. I miss Rich each and every day and had always looked forward to our next chapter. I have been thinking for a long time of what I could do to honor him on this day. And then the idea came to me. Rich bought this 1967 Corvette when he was a senior in high school. He and his dad spent many hours/days/months working on it to fix it up. This was one of Rich's pride and joys. Unfortunately, this beautiful car sat in our garage for almost 27 years. The inspection sticker on it was from 1993. Time just got away from us. So my idea to honor Rich on this day was to have this beautiful car fixed up. So I want to give a huge thank you to Howard and his team for the countless hours in the past several months you have spent working on this car. It is now back home and looks AMAZING. I know Rich would have been so proud. Here's to you! Happy Anniversary I love and miss you each and every day.
