🌾Growing in a New Direction 🌾

A lot has changed here at Lazy Hound Farm over the past few years. We stepped away from agritourism some time ago, a decision that gave our family the space to refocus on what matters most: our home, our land, and the kind of stewardship that lasts for generations.

These days, the farm runs a little quieter. No crowds, no events, just the daily rhythm of caring for the land, improving the soil, and raising our kids to understand the work and responsibility that come with it.

The kids have started their own roadside farm stands, offering:

🥚 Fresh eggs from their hens

🪵 Bagged firewood

🔥 Smoking wood and loose camping wood

🥩 Farm-raised beef (when available)

🌾 A few other seasonal goods from right here on the farm

Lazy Hound Farm continues to operate as a working family farm, guided by respect for the land, compliance with state and federal agricultural laws, and a belief that real progress happens close to home.

We’re proud of where this next chapter is taking us — a quieter, steadier kind of farming focused on restoring and sustaining what we’ve been given.

We’re so proud of our son for starting his own little firewood stand out by the road! He’s got bagged firewood ready to go (self-serve style) so you can swing by anytime and grab what you need.

It’s awesome to see him working hard and learning what it takes. Come and grab a bag or two for all your wood burning needs!
