It is HOT! If you have outdoor pets, PLEASE make sure they have access to shade and plenty of fresh water.

HEAT STROKE IN DOGS - A DEADLY
MISTAKE YOU MIGHT BE MAKING
Heat stroke in dogs is fast, dangerous, and often preventable. But the worst part? Many owners panic and do exactly what could make things fatal.If your dog is overheating, do NOT pour cold water or give ice. A sudden temperature drop of just 3°C can send their body into shock. That shock can lead to organ failure, seizures, and even death. What feels like a kind, quick fix could be the very thing that costs your dog its life. Dogs don't sweat like us. They rely on panting and paw pads to cool off. In high humidity or heat, that's often not enough.
Flat-faced breeds (like Bulldogs and Pugs), puppies, seniors, and overweight dogs are even more vulnerable. What to do instead?- Move your dog to a shaded, cool space- Use cool (not cold) wet towels on their belly, paws, armpits- Offer small sips of room temperature water- Call a vet immediately — don't wait. Knowing how to react can save your dog's life. Stay calm, stay smart - and never underestimate how fast heat stroke can strike. Your awareness is your dog's best defense.
