10-Year-Old Grullo Welch Gelding
Out of an own son of Gallo De Cielo and a handy little pony mare, this special gelding truly carries the best of both worlds cow horse talent and pony heart.
He was given to me as a c**t, and I later sold him at 5 years old to a good friend, where he became a teacher to many kids. I eventually bought him back, and he then went to a family member to teach their little girl how to ride before returning to my barn once again. I’ve watched him grow into the steady, dependable gelding he is today. At 10 years old, he’s in his prime ,seasoned, gentle, and ready for his next chapter.
He is finished on the heel side and gives you the same run every single time. You can run as many steers as you’d like, and he will not get hot in the box. He can also be used for breakaway, poles, and goat tying. He has been ridden all over town and doesn’t spook at anything. He’s the kind of gelding you can confidently put in parades, perfect for any kid or adult who wants to ride without worrying about a horse acting up. He is as honest and quiet as they come.
He’s the type you can turn any kid or adult loose on. He’s safe, willing, patient, and a confidence builder. After growing up with me, it’s time for him to be somebody’s teacher, offering that same steady security to the next person who needs him.
