I will be on vacation May 12 through May 17.

During that time, I will be attending two important family events my daughter’s graduation on May 13 and her wedding on May 15.

Amanda remains on medical leave, and Gary will continue servicing her route on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday during this time.

Amanda is expected to take her vacation around August for a family event as well, as her daughter is expecting her first child.

We are still doing spring clean ups and first time cleaning for new clients. Is your yard bare foot ready? The myth... "I just let the lawn mower take care of it" sorry it doesn't. What does it actually do? The tires run it over and flatten it and the next pass blows grass clippings to hide it and it gets run over and stepped on pushed below the grass but it's still there. Or the deck is high enough it glides right over it while the wind from the rotating blades forces it deeper into the grass. If the blades actually hit it, then it just spreads it throughout the yard in smaller pieces.

Meteorologists issued a High Wind Advisory today after powerful gusts swept through the area.

Reports confirm winds strong enough to blow away:

Some days in this job are tougher than others.

Today was one of those tough days.

One of our vehicles was backed into while Amanda was servicing a yard, which jammed the door handle so it wouldn't open. Instead of calling it a day, she jumped in with me and we finished both routes together… in steady rain most of the day.

Long hours. Wet boots. Mud everywhere.

But then something small happened that reminded us why we love serving this community.

At one of her regular yards, the client had left a little bag on the gate with.

I was walking behind her when she saw it.
And that smile said everything.

It’s the little things like that which make a long, rainy day worth it.

To all of our amazing clients thank you for noticing the hard work.

We’re lucky to have the best clients. Has someone ever done something small that made your day?
