✨ Meet Nash! ✨
This sweet 7-month-old kitten was rescued by the Muskingum Co iHumane Society with a badly broken leg. I repaired it with an IM pin and external fixator on Monday and kept him overnight in my bathtub and he handled everything like a champ!

Nash is already doing great, and we’re so proud to have saved another leg and given another pet the chance at a happy, healthy life. He’s going to make someone a truly wonderful cat. 💙🐾 let me know if know if you are interested in adopting him!

Can’t complain about the past week- got to fix two dog femurs and save this kitty from amputation, too! It was a new weight record repair for me coming in at 1.7 pounds! I’m fostering her- let me know if you are keen on adopting this sweetie! She will be ready for to full send it in 3 weeks!

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team as an anesthesia and surgery assistant. This role involves traveling with our lead surgeon 1-2 days per week to assist with surgical procedures, focusing on anesthesia monitoring and perioperative patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and setup for surgeries, ensuring all equipment and instruments are ready.
Monitor anesthesia and maintain accurate records during procedures.
Provide post-operative care and monitoring of patients.
Assist with sterilization and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment.
Assist in patient handling and positioning for various surgical procedures and raiographs.
Collaborate with the lead surgeon, client and host clinics to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications:
Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in Ohio.
Experience in anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance, min. 1 year.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to travel within Ohio with reliable transportation.
Flexibility to work 1-2 days per week based on surgical scheduling.
