The Animal Shelter Society, Inc. wants to ensure every pet stays safe as dangerously low temperatures are coming our way.

🐾♥️ We are donating clean, dry STRAW to community members who have dogs and/or community/feral cats that must remain in outdoor shelters. Straw is the safest bedding, as it repels moisture & provides critical warmth.

🐾♥️ Our mission extends way beyond the shelter walls, & we want to help you to keep every animal safe from the cold. This is what our 100% non-profit organization does for our great community.

🐾♥️ Remember: Do not use blankets or towels, as they absorb moisture & can freeze. Straw creates necessary air pockets & repels water.

🐾♥️ Please take only what you need to ensure everyone can get some. Bring a trash bags as some bales are broken and/or loose.

I would like to have someone get a message to my family. “I want to go home - it’s no longer funny - I have learned my lesson- I won’t run away anymore - I will eat what is put in front of me - I will only request two treats a day - I will never want to be walked during any sports broadcasting and I promise I will never p**p on the floor again”. These folks are wonderful here at the Animal Shelter Society. They really have cared for me and the lady who runs this place 😳 - well she makes sure things get done. At 1:30 pm October 9th, 2021 my beautiful little Tazzy left this world to cross the Rainbow Bridge. He was my baby, my little sweetheart and my best friend. I will always love you and miss you my sweet Tazz. You are free now. Free from suffering and at peace.❤
