We hope everyone from ATA Lopez Foundation had fun meeting our demonstration dogs, Orion and Zephyr at the Back to School Bash!! We also had our friend and her pet therapy dog, Selene, from Bayou Buddies Pet Therapy with us!!

Lots of puppy love and kids running through the agility tunnel with Orion. 😂 Thank you for having us!

Forest at the airport this morning!

Today he was definitely feeling his teenage self. Even though we walked and played prior to visiting he had trouble staying in heel. I will say it's nice to see curious/confident body language even if he was forging ahead. I had a friend meet us at the airport to practice people neutrality. (He's looking at her in the photo below and stressed he can't say hello.) Forest walked up and down stairs today and rode the elevator with no fuss. As far as he is concerned, elevator is definitely his preferred way to travel.

Forest at the airport yesterday 👐

What a good boy! Yesterday was more about checking everything out at the airport while behaving, looking at the elevator/stairs, and generalizing his cues a little(You don't pick how fast a dog learns or generalizes a cue!!). He was better than I expected and no reaction to suitcases or light foot traffic.

Dog neutrality session from last night with Forest, Opal, and Zephyr. 😍 I honestly love that my clients dogs stay at my home with me. I know that they are safe and if we feel like training at 8pm it can happen! (As long as all the dogs are having a good time.)

Forest was so excited to be by these two, it took everything he had to be quiet. Opal had no problem settling behind the barrier and neither did Zephyr. Next time, it's Forest's turn.
