🧪🔬 Boujee Barnyard Research & Development Department is officially open. 🐥🦆

Natalie has something up her sleeve starting in July, and we are already hard at work testing ideas for next year.

Two giant kids with a passion for birds, lots of creativity, and a million ideas are always dreaming up what's next.

New birds. New projects. New adventures. 🐓🐥🦆
We're having a blast behind the scenes and can't wait to share it with everyone.

You guys 🥹🥹 Marilyn and DiMaggio are HUGE. they are getting moved to their own brooder , and in the next couple weeks a grow out pen so all the birds can get used to them and then they will be with the flock! we can’t wait to kickstart our Geese breeding next year

Hey barnyardians!
I am back from Texas & in true homestead nature , busy right away. i have some small tweaks to make on the pen still (and don’t forget this is temporary , it will be much bigger and full of all the fun for the animals).
This weekend we will also be building a chicken tractor , for JN Homestead meat birds , and when they are out , it will be used for breeding 🤩🤩🤞🏼
I am still working out lots of quirks and such , moving into an abandoned property comes with a lot of rebuilding but that’s okay because we can make it perfect!
I am also slowly working on breeding pairs , and what’s next in the works.
All incubators are empty! If you want hatching eggs or chicks , we can fill them per order on the barnyard mixes for now.
I’m positive we may load a few soon to see what mixes we get with some of these new breeds we added.

The weather was bad tonight 😕 so tomorrow the turkeys will get snuggled and named.

⚡🐓🦆 Boujee Barnyard Update 🦆🐓⚡

No predators have bothered our flock.
And we'd like to keep it that way.
So the hot fence is up and ready because around here we believe in safety first, regret never.
To any predators thinking about stopping by for a chicken dinner...
Fry, predators, fry. ⚡😂
The ducks are protected. The chickens are protected. And the buffet is permanently closed.

Cattle rancher mentality: If hot fence works on 1,000 + pound cows, it ought to discourage a predator or two. ⚡🐄🐓🦆😂
